This time I want to tell you how our actions in the past year will affect the future
of the FCI. I am not saying it is not important to summarise our achievements and
to explain why we proceeded in a certain way, but I want to talk about our future
as an international organisation, but most important about the future of our dogs
worldwide.
Three aspects have been transcendental during the past year; cooperation and collaboration,
innovation and preparation for the future. These three aspects will lead our organisation
for the next year.

World Dog Show 2016 in Russia
Dear friends,
Let us remind that a year has passed since the World Dog Show 2016! It was a large
and unforgettable show which left an indelible mark in our hearts.
We want you to remember this wonderful event in the world of cynology, which became
possible not only as a result of our efforts but also thanks to your support, assistance
and participation.
At the end of June 2016 owners and breeders, handlers and groomers, judges and dog
trainers from 40 countries gathered in Moscow. Within the framework of the World
Dog Show, 5 to 8 thousand dogs were exhibited at 66 rings every day.
In the frame of WDS 2016, Dog Dance World Championship, Obedience World Championship,
International Terrier Championship "INTERRA", World Bulldog Club Federation (WBCF)
Championship were carried out.
Once again we are happy to congratulate the winners and welcome everybody at our
traditional International Dog Shows “Eurasia" and "Russia"!
